Go to the Hall of Registration then go up and create as many soldiers as possible. Now you won't lose your gold and will keep racking it up. Keep doing this until you have to make more. Then take a group of three and sell their weapons and armor. To get lots of gold make as many soldiers as you can. Just take them to the Hall of Registration when they're level 20 and you can turn them into Sages. If you didn't know already, despite being lousy fighters in the game, Goof-Offs actually have some value. The latter is easy enough to get around, however, since you can put a character there at all times that can’t use magic. Also, the first character in line will be unable to do this if he or she has the ability to use magic. Naturally, because you can’t go back once you select the last character in line’s move, the last character in line can never attempt this glitch. There are two important exceptions to this rule, however. This character will now have his 50% defense bonus and attack in the same round. This time, select Attack, and proceed to the next character. When this happens, press B to head back to the character you defended with. Simply select the Parry command, which will proceed to the next character in line. So how do you both defend and attack? Well, it’s easy! Defending (or parrying) eliminates that chosen character’s ability to fight, but damage received will be cut in half if he or she is targeted by an enemy attack. An interesting glitch appears in Dragon Warrior III that can be reproduced in any battle.
